Knowing that a person is a lot older than they look is not the same thing as convincing your subconscious that a 400 year old painting might be of your friend and not merely be an intriguing coincidence.

Note to the art schooled: I would have been able to give an educated guess to when that style of painting and dress most resembled 15~20 years ago. Those memories are now mildewy, covered in cobwebs, and inexplicably filled with penguins intent on writing War and Peace to upstage those uppity monkey Shakespearians.

Finding the infinite typewriters needed has been almost as frustrating as typing without fingers.

This stream of consciousness brought to you as an example why I once considered "muse" one of my unofficial professions, back when I was living with two artists.
