What if he was trying to help Kay thinking that P might not have been around her with the best intentions?

Shouldn't he have asked P what his intentions were..? When in doubt, go to the source.

I can easily understand her anger here, where she was sent to this "Doctor" to "Cure" her for seeing unusual things, and supporting her parents delusion that she couldn't. It is probably a 'blessing' of sorts that she couldn't see him for what he was way back when she was under their care. That doesn't make what he said and did appropriate nor right, or even justifiable. In the end, he may actually be the 'sick' one... :-P

I really love how expressive Kay's face is in the third panel.

Just read it again and squid face sounds like Tim Curry in my head

Yes! Tim Curry in "Legend" would be just perfect!

While I like a good protagonist, I like a good villain even more. Squid Faced Asshole, as he shall be known forever more, has shown several "good villain" traits. He is unsettling in his appearance, he's smart and knows how to be charismatic around others. Critically, he has shown that he is a very credible threat. I look forward to seeing how this plays out.

I think you need a good villain (or at least opposing force) to have a good protagonist. Otherwise, what are they fighting against?
