With all the hassle she got about refusing to not see P, and the shrinks I seem to remember you saying she had to see, if one of them was amortal, he was evidently a troll. A cthulhu-troll hybrid, sure, but trying to get someone to refuse to see what you can see is a bit cruel.

Well that actually makes sense, what better place to feed on emotions (especially darker ones) then in the psych business?

Presuming that this is her old Psychiatrist, and not her Pediatrician, I find it interesting that they appear to be the kind of "horror" that typically traumatizes children (even though technically so should P have as well, and she could always see him.) It is also worthy of noting that while she was sent to "Cure" Kay of seeing P, and now that we know of the significance of his existence in all of its usual horrific significance, it is rather the "Doctor" that should actually be causing such real trauma.

This makes things rather interesting, and while amusing from a certain comedic point of view, it is a real shame that her parents can't be shown the true nature of the Doctor..? If one would believe that Kay inherited her ability to have one foot in both worlds, shouldn't one of her parents be otherworldly or at least sensitive to the true nature of those around them?

It's never been discussed *why* Kay can see things, just that she can. By all accounts, she shouldn't have the ability to - that's the power of all "mortals"... to disbelieve.
