Not a person, my ass. Does a "thing" get emotional at daytime soaps? Does a "thing" put the wellbeing of their friend ahead of their own happiness? A "thing" doesn't a friend.

A person does.

"A thing" won't have empathy, kindness, the ability to love, feel happy, sad, etc.

Daaaamn! that's dark! I thought he was like a deceased relative or a curse or something of sorts! So now the question is... who and why created him?

This is certainly an interesting twist, and Kay may need a moment to recover before remembering that no matter how P came into being, he still has a "Spirit" that is all his own. She needs to remember that this "Frankenstein's Monster" is still her lifelong friend, and all of those happy memories they shared still have meaning, and add up to more than an unfortunate origin for P. I'm sure Kay will accept him, bones and all, since he isn't just a collection of others but her true friend. She spent years of therapy of P, what's a little tragic past between them?

Huh, well can't say this was the worse thing I had in mind. Kind of far from it. Though still pretty heavy.

April fools? =P

I find it interesting that I guessed correctly what the secret was, though it wasn't much of a stretch to come up with.

P may feel that skeletons are a thing simply because they are deliberately made. The thing is, so is everybody else. Whether a person is made by stitching parts together or in a womb or forged from clay or steel has no bearing whatsoever on whether that person is, indeed, a person.

Actually, I imagined that the answer would be a LOT worse than that. Being a collection of random bones is much better than what I had envisioned, given the buildup to this reveal... :P
