Sorry for the late update! I got stitches in my hand yesterday so it took me a lot longer, ha ha.

Also - in light of recent events, I want to just touch on Jacob's attitude here and his comment. He certainly falls into a group of people who have a sense of entitlement, and that was the point of his comments here. It has been written for weeks, and just happened to fall at an unfortunate time. I try to write from truth when I write for the comic, and share some collected experiences. I hope that if anything, this scene just helps to illustrate some of the more passive-seeming flaws in people.

Jackie... Thank you so much for addressing his comment in light of recent events. I'm glad I can interpret the look on Kay's face as disgust for his comment.

I don't know what Kay is going to say about what he said. But i think that maybe this post couldn't have come at a more perfect time, because it allows you to comment on the issue.

<3 Thanks hun. I was a little nervous about posting this (in regards to backlash), but it's good knowing you've got friends in your corner!

I can see what you are trying to do, but just my opinion, I don't think it being in reference to a woman works how you want it to. That feels more mysoginistic than entitled. But I get it, he feels entitled to a date/chance/one night stand, but she refuses every guy. Entitlement would be more "I deserve a raise, I take 10 calls a day."

I think Jackie used the term entitled to refer to those men who feel entitled to a woman's time and/or body, not in terms of job opportunity.

Right I got that, but that is more what I call mysoginistic, y'know "grr me man, me deserve woman, woman no get choice."
