I could very well be just schizophrenic, but I have seen out-the-corner-of-your-eye type stuff my entire life. Especially the sort of lurking things he's talking about. He does make a good point, choosing to see all of it isn't all beastials and faeries.

Much like TC, I've had this my whole life. Probably contributed to (or, heck, mighta been caused by) me becoming a writer.

But personally, I'm of the opinion that I'd rather know about it. They're there, and nothing I do or say will change that they're there. (And even if I could change it, I probably wouldn't.)

So I'd prefer to know about them. They could have the chance of making my life worse, but they have an equal chance of enhancing my life, and given the choice between knowing and not-knowing, I'm going to choose to know.

...Yeah, sometimes, once you know, you can never go back. And again, chance to ruin (or even end) your life. But that's true of everything in life; life's too short, and I'd like to live my short life as I'd like it.

And the way I'd like it (my head having always been in the clouds a bit :P) is that I'd prefer to know if these things were real.

Of course, it used to be that the Monsters would go away when you turned on the light. I gain no comfort in knowing that they're lurking about in the daylight too. Does a blanket over the head still work?

Yeah, like I need an excuse to make a blanket fort...

JackieM, how about an update on the Boston Comic Con in your next Author's Comment? Distant fans wanna know.
