So yeah. We're having a heat wave right now, so giant computron +no a/c + 90 degree temps = computer meltdown. While I was working on today's page yesterday, my computer turned off right in the middle of working and I lost the whole thing. I'm working on getting it back up, but obviously I have to treat my computer tenderly so I can't be running it mid-day. With a tremendous amount of luck it will be up tonight, but most likely tomorrow. In the meantime, there are 200-something pages of backlog to re-read, or you could check out The Adventures of Lady Skylark, my steampunk pirate adventure comic, or my deviantArt account, which has tons of images I've done.

Thanks for your understanding, and I'll have the page up asap!

I don't think I have ever actually left a comment on your work yet but I would like to take this moment to say that I adore your art and I have really enjoying this story. I'm very excited to see how everything is going to unfold. Hope that everything goes well with your computer. Keep cool.

Sadly I am all caught up on Lady Skylark and an avid follower of your deviant account :) I am just going to have to be patient and I hope your heat wave ends soon.

This is why you save often. :P

Typically, it's a good idea to save every minute or two--doesn't matter how little progress you've made; you've made progress, so progress must be saved. :P

Actually, I saved several times. Many, many times. I actually save about every five minutes. What happened is the file corrupted, which means no matter how many times you save it's still gone.

I had to go look and see where you were located, I was wondering why you didn't have AC in the middle of Summer, but yea, where you are not every house has AC. But here in OK, yea, we better have AC.. 30+ days last year of triple digit weather. Good Luck, and take the side panel off the puter and point a fan in till the heat wave subsides!

You may also want to try incremental backups. Either save a new file once a while or have a program in the background copy the file to a new name after each change.
