It's interesting the comments/discussion that's originated from these last couple pages. Totally not what I expected or intended, but super none the less!

I bet K would like my philosophy on sanity - 'Sanity is but a state of mind, imposed upon us by society and what society as a whole thinks is 'right'.' If one thinks about it, there is no normal - My definition of what's normal is going to be vastly different from someone like K or even P, and theirs will be vastly different from someone in China, Kenya, Australia, Brazil. The catch comes in making sure you function properly in society, and don't let anybody know you may be 'different', as history has shown us that 'different' means the sort of treatment K's gotten from people because of P.

I've also got to wonder, why wouldn't P show her parents from the get-go that he's real by picking something up or something, if the landlord can see him getting the mail and folding underwear? Unless they were worried an exorcist would be called in...

I think Kay would agree with a lot of you belief, for sure.

And you're right - they would see P if he picked something up, if he was real. So that either means he's not real, or he was very careful, or...

Well don't look at me, I'm not telling yet. :)

"There's always a reason"
Well that's... Convenient for your argument. Assume that something is wrong until all possible avenues have been exhausted.

Kay is so right about relationships (I may or may not have basically the same rules about relationships as her) and I'm always getting garbage from people about it.

Technically, when I was K's age, I had a reason: all but one of the people I knew were assholes. I think the one exception thought I was an asshole.
